Family Life

Family Life is an important part of every Catholic Parish. Family Life Programs support married life, provide parenting skills, have faith programs for parents of newly baptized children, and teach Natural Family Planning.

Marriage Encounter
These couples who have experienced a Marriage Encounter weekend get together once a month to support the Sacrament of Matrimony. Members also enjoy family gatherings once a month at a couple's home to share a potluck dinner and fellowship, and also support the Marriage Encounter Weekends.

Natural Family Planning
This group teaches natural family planning, gives information sessions, and promotes chastity information for teens. They purchase videos, books, and pamphlets on chastity, which parents may borrow. Classes are given by George & Helen Jost (by appointment for now). Call (847)658-8379. We teach the Couple to Couple League SymptoThermal NFP. We can also help/counsel users of Mucus Only or other single method NFP.
