Mental Health Awareness Month
How much do you know about Mental Health?
Do you have the knowledge and skills to:
- Identify signs and symptoms of mental illness
- Recognize the need for, and engage in, a variety of self-care activities to minimize the effect of mental health challenges
- Assist someone having a panic attack or someone talking about suicide
- Connect yourself or someone you care about (or any person) to an anonymous mental health screening tool, services, or resources?
Something for you that costs less than a daily cup of coffee!
In the month of May we are offering National certification in Mental Health First Aid skills (a 3-year certification) for less than a nickel a day. This course increases mental health literacy while building confidence and strength in your ability to care for your mental wellbeing.
Choose to be empowered with mental health education and help reduce the stigma of mental illness.
