7th Sunday of Easter – The Ascension of the Lord – May 17th, 2026
Today, we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord.  Before Jesus ascends in glory to sit at the right hand of God, he commissions each of us to go and spread the Gospel to the whole world – and he promises to send the Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide us in this task. 

We pray that our hearts may always be open to God’s direction and that we will go where he leads us.

  • On Sunday June 7t, we will have our annual procession with the Eucharist after the 11:00AM multi-cultural Mass on Corpus Christi with multiple altars as stops for prayer, reflection, and His blessing.   There will not be a 1:00 PM Polish Mass that Sunday. If you received your first communion or were confirmed this year, please join us for this procession and we ask that you sit behind the altar servers for that Mass.  We hope that you can join us for a short pilgrimage with the Lord right after Mass.
  • Please join the Knights of Columbus this upcoming Monday night at 7:00 PM at the outdoor grotto, as they will be praying the Holy Rosary.
  • Join us next Sunday May 24t from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in McDonnell Hall after all the masses for a celebration.  Even though some of our Friars will be with us a little longer, we as a Parish will celebrate their service to our parish community and say farewell to our Friars.
  • With Summer upon us this Sunday, May 17t will be the last 4:30PM Sunday Mass.  In addition, starting June 5t the 9:15AM Friday Mass will now begin at 8:30AM.
  • For any 8t graders to seniors graduating from high school, come join the youth in attending the Steubenville Conference in Rochester Minnesota from July 10t do 12t.
  • We need your Help! Grab a VBS Amazon wish list leaf off the lattice and choose whatever you like to donate. Also, there are plenty of spots open for the kids to join us as participants and teen crew leaders. Information is in the bulletin.
