19th Sunday in Ordinary Time – August 9th, 2026
Today God’s word invites all of us to attune our hearts to recognize the presence of God around us.  Sometimes we will find God in the midst of the storminess of our life; at other times we will discover God during moments of tranquility.
Let us pray that we will have the vision to see and hear God in our lives outside this sacred place.

 

  • (9:00AM Only) Please join the Knights of Columbus right after Mass here in the church as they will be praying the holy rosary. Rosaries are available if needed.
  • This upcoming Saturday is the Feast of the Assumption of Mary.  The Vigil Masses on Friday will be at 6:00 PM in English and the Saturday morning Mass will be at 8:30 AM.
  • The Food Pantry shopping cart is out by the church doors during all the Masses.  Food can be dropped off anytime during the month in the shopping cart located in the hallway by the parish office.
  • Save the date for the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage on September 26t.  See the bulletin for more details.
  • Come give the gift of life with the Knights Blood Drive next Sunday August 16t in the ministry center from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
  • Registration for Gather Family Formation is open for all families with preschool children and older.  Confirmation Formation registration is open for all incoming 9th graders. Look in the bulletin for details.
  • Are you 9t grade or older and looking for a way to grow in your faith, build leadership skills, and make lasting friendships? As a member of Adeste, our Peer Ministry Team, you’ll help plan and lead Youth Ministry events, share your ideas, and make a real impact on our youth community.  We’d love to have you on the team!   • All women of the parish are invited for a morning reflection on Saturday August 22i starting with 8:30 AM morning mass and then join us in McDonnel Hall from 9:15 AM to11:00 AM for coffee, a light breakfast, and an inspiring presentation on our Blessed Mother and her deep love for us.
  • Have you ever thought about becoming a Catholic? We have a process for learning more about that, coming soon! The Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) begins at St. Margaret Mary Parish on September 20t.  This is a program that provides non-Catholics with information about our Church and our faith.  It is meant for unbaptized adults, those baptized in other Christian traditions, or baptized Catholics who missed receiving Confirmation and First Communion.  This is a great opportunity to get to know more about the Catholic Faith. We would love to talk to you to inform you about our OCIA process.  Just call or visit the parish office.  Someone will be in touch with you very quickly to discuss all the details.
