4th Sunday of Ordinary Time  – February 1st, 2026
Today we hear Jesus’ teaching of the Beatitudes.
Let us ponder Jesus’ words and how they relate to us.
Are we poor in spirit?
In mourning?
A peacemaker?
Persecuted for our faith?
Or something else?
No matter who or where we are in life, Jesus assures us we are blessed!
As we pray and celebrate this Holy Mass together, let us truly “Rejoice and be glad”, for our daily blessings and our future heavenly reward!
This weekend after all the Masses, we are having a Saint Blaise blessing of the throats. The Priests and Deacons will be at the foot of the altar, so form a line from those locations.

  • Thank you to everyone who donated and bought tickets for the Winter Wonderland Gala! We are looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend!
  • Ash Wednesday is only a couple of weeks away on February 18t.  Please bring back and place your palms for burning in the basket in our lobby.
  • (Tylko w niedzielę o 7:00 rano) Please join the Knights of Columbus right after Mass in the church, as they will be praying the Holy Rosary.  Rosaries are available if needed.
  • (Sunday 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 1:00 PM Only) Today the St. Margaret Mary Polish Ministry will be selling Pączkis in the lobby, stop and enjoy a hot cup of coffee with them!  Credit cards are accepted.
  • Next week on February 7t and 8t after all masses, we will celebrate the World Day of the Sick concluding with the Anointing of the Sick.   Please see the bulletin about offering any of your special intentions.
  • Next weekend of February 7t and 8t, we will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry.
  • The Social Outreach and Youth group will be collecting toiletries for the next three weeks for homeless at the Pads and Vineyard shelters for Toiletry Sunday. Details can be found in the bulletin and on the table in Bethany lobby.
  • Save the date for our annual Shamrock Shave on Saturday, March 14t.  More information to come regarding getting your corned beef and cabbage dinner tickets and how to support our shavee’s.  If you want to get your head shaved, please leave your name and number in the office or see the bulletin for details.
  • Altar Servers, our only meeting for February will concentrate on the Friday Stations of the Cross. Please be at the meeting on Tuesday February 10tfrom 5:30 PM until 6:45 PM in the Church to learn more and sign up.
  • The youth ministry is going to see the musical Singing in the Rain on February 21św. from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM.  Please register with the youth ministry or grab a flyer in the lobby.
