Every year at the end of April, the Diocese of Rockford announces the Diocesan Appeal. This year’s theme of the appeal is God’s Mercy Leads Us. This theme was chosen because we are celebrating the Jubilee Year of God’s Mercy. As the Holy Father Francis tells us, we are not only the receivers of God’s mercy, but we should be the apostles of this beautiful gift from God. NOVENA TO THE MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS. The Joyful Stewards invite you to join them on Thursday, May 26th, to begin the novena (nine days of prayer) leading up to the Feast of the Sacred Heart, Friday, June 3rd. The novena begins on Thursday, May 26th. It may be prayed privately, with your family, within parish ministries, or with your neighbors and friends. Suggestion: If you are praying it with others, take turns leading the novena each day, or share the various sections among those taking part.

FIRST FRIDAY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION. First Friday Masses are at 7:00 AM and 9:15 AM. There is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM with closing prayers and Benediction. A PILGRIMAGE TO THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE IN LACROSSE, WISCONSIN - June 10-11, 2016. Join our Pastor, Fr. Peter Sarnicki, OFM Conv., for a Holy Year of Mercy pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Worker in La Crosse, WI. Together, we will ponder the astounding events that led up to the apparitions and hear the story of how Our Lady conquered the hearts of the Americas. Deadline for registration is May 20th. Join us for this very special Pilgrimage in this Holy Year of Mercy!

Everest Vacation Bible School is packed full of activities including games, cool Bible Songs, age appropriate crafts and tasty treats are just a few of the things that help faith flow into real life.
