We meet every second Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Ministry Center. If you have questions, please contact Deacon Don Miller at 847-915-8474.

2013 Diocesan Stewardship Appeal

PLEDGED TO DATE:
$85,954 (310 Donors)
"God opens the door of faith." These words are the theme for our 2013 Diocesan Stewardship Appeal. Our goal is set at $129,272 as our share of the common diocesan responsibility. Anything over that goal will be returned to the parish for updating our church. Starting next weekend, we will ask you for your commitment. Currently, 800 families out of 3,400 contribute. If all our parishioners contributed $160, our goal could easily be achieved, and we would have resources to accomplish our parish projects. Thank you, as always, for your great generosity. Please understand that any gift, large or small, is appreciated.
Father Peter Sarnicki, O.F.M., Conv.

PARISH MISSION & VISION
Our Mission Statement: We, the Catholic Community of Saint Margaret Mary Church, are called by God to be brothers and sisters of Jesus through His life, death and resurrection. We are challenged, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to recognize, become like, and share Christ Jesus in Sacrament, service to others and the sharing of our gifts and the Good News. In this, God's Reign is established.
Our Parish Vision Statement: We are called to establish God’s reign on earth by becoming one with Christ in word, Sacrament and service, as follows:
By loving God above all else, and by loving others as ourselves.
By participating fully in the sacramental life of the Church.
By seeking God’s grace through prayer and spiritual renewal.
By serving others through corporal and spiritual works of mercy.
By supporting the education and religious formation of children, young people and adults in the Roman Catholic tradition.
By sharing, with joy and generosity, our unique talents, our time, our treasure, our personal witness of faith, and our practice of charity.
By being a welcoming community, respecting the diversity of gifts and cultures.
By evangelizing our community and the world through our example of Christian living and our witness to our faith in Christ and the Church.
This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. You are my friends, if you do what I command you.
