On October 3, 1226, already blind and marked by the stigmata, Francis asked to be laid “naked on the bare earth” – a supreme gesture of faith in the fatherhood of God and acceptance of Sister Bodily Death.

The Secular/3rd Order of Franciscan Fraternity here at St. Margaret Mary will be celebrating the 800 anniversary of the Transitus of Francis on Saturday, October 3rd at 2pm in the church. We invite everyone to join us for this very spiritual and moving celebration of the life of St. Francis. It will be celebrated bilingual, both Polish and English.

After the service, we will go over to the Ministry Center for a reception.
