THE NEED FOR SACRIFICIAL GIVING
Jesus asks us to make our mark on this world and to serve the Lord by sharing His gifts with others. A gift to the You Will Be My Witnesses Campaign is a wonderful way of doing so. Your gift to the campaign will:
o Promote Evangelization by:
- Increasing on-the-ground support in parishes for faith formation and youth ministry
- Enhancing our Catholic Schools and increasing accessibility
- Expanding bilingual staff for our rapidly growing LiFE (Life and Family Evangelization) ministry
- Renovating the Bishop Lane Retreat Center
o Encourage healthy, vibrant parishes by funding individual parish projects
o Assist parishes with lower annual incomes with a Parish Opportunity Fund
o Provide necessary maintenance to the Diocesan Administration Center, like replacing the HVAC
Funding each of these goals with the financial resources we have been blessed with will, in turn, multiply those blessings back to us and to God. The Diocese of Rockford is fortunate to have an abundance of Catholic households who financially support our mission. We have a responsibility to make our diocese, and our world, better for those who follow us. Bishop Malloy will soon invite all of us to answer the call to live as witnesses!
